Reception

West Quay employs 15 receptionists split over its two sites in Barry and Rhoose. Receptionists are trained care navigators and provide an important link for patients ensuring you are seen by the most appropriate healthcare professional. They can provide basic information on services and results. Please do not be offended if they ask questions about your health condition as they have been asked to do this by the doctors. They also perform other important tasks such as administering repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
